Write Tool Reviews, Get Free Stuff!

For a limited time, we're giving away a valuable, probably collectable, Toolcritic.com t-shirt to each user who writes at least five (yes, only five) reviews. Get down to your shop with a pad and pencil and write down the brands and model numbers of your tools, sign-up, and write those reviews (check the fine print for rules).

They need to be reviews that are rich with your experiences using the tools. Reviews are your opportunity to let other folks know about your experience with your tools. You may save someone from a terrible mistake or let them experience the joy you've had with a particular tool.

Reviews are usually approved and posted on the site within a day or so, depending on the number posted, our workload, and the phase of the moon. You'll receive an e-mail when your review is approved.

When you're written that fifth review, we'll drop your t-shirt in the mail (sorry, but we'll only ship free shirts to the Continental US). Be sure to give us your name and address when you sign up! To get started, click on any of the "review" links on the product pages of just enter your brand and model number in the form above.

Review Your Tools

If you know the brand and model of the product you want to review, enter them in the fields below. The product is probably already in our database, but if it's not, we can add it when your review is approved.

If you don't know the brand or the model, enter a few keywords from the title and we'll try to find it for you. For example, if you have a Delta Band Saw, but don't know the model, enter Delta for the brand and Band Saw in the keywords field.

Fine Print on Getting Free Stuff

Only one free t-shirt to a household. We hope you'll get that second t-shirt for your spouse from our store. Sorry to our friends in Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, and the rest of the world, but we only ship free stuff within the Continenal US.

T-shirts are available in any color you like, as long as it's white. Sizes are men's extra-large and large. Drop us a note when the time comes and let us know what size you'd like. If we don't hear from you, you'll get what we have the most of at the time. There are additional sizes, colors, and styles that can be purchased from our store, but they are not available for this promotion.

Reviews must be approved before they count towards free stuff. We reserve the right to reject any review for any reason that we feel is appropriate.
