Slow and Unusual, But Overall Fine
Wood Magazine, Volume 163, 2005-06

by Toolmark

The reviewer said this is the only saw they tested that had a magnetic switch to prevent the saw from restarting in the event of a power interruption, which is a high point. The fence scale is easy to read due to the large, clear markings and use of a magnified cursor, and the fence has adjustment screws to bring it parallel to the blade and perpendicular to the tabletop. Another high point is that the miter-gauge can be adjusted to fit the miter slot. The only low point the reviewer mentioned is that it is one of the slowest cutting saws they tested. The saw has stamped-steel extension wings. One oddity of this saw is that the "off" button needs to be rotated before the saw can be turned on, which is a good safety feature, but whose operation is not immediately obvious when operating the saw.
