(This review is for the Ryobi P230C.) Consumer Reports testers ranked this as the 4th best cordless impact driver, with an evaluation score that puts it in the "very good" range. The power is excellent, the speed, charge time, and handling are very good, the run time is good, but the low noise level (at the user's ear) is poor. The tool weight is 4.6 pounds, the battery pack has 18 volts, the battery type is NiCd, the battery recharge time is 60 minutes, and there is one speed range. Consumer Reports considers this a best buy due to this tool's high performance:cost ratio.
