The reviewer rated this tool as Top Value among the benchtop drill presses tested because of the serious features combined with a low price. Some of the "big-machine" features are variable speed, digital speed display, and a laser crosshair that never needs batteries. The table is great for clamping with an adjustable tilting scale, and a work-holding vice is included with the purchase price. The only significant problem is that the depth stop frequently slips. This drill is ideal for those who do not plan to do much multiple-hole drilling.

The arbor kept falling out of the spindle. It's a tapered arbor and I couldn't get it to stay in. Working with a 4 inch wood hole saw, it worked fine with the first 12-15 holes, but then it wouldn't stay in.

The speed control, laser, etc are all really good. Hopefully the replacement unit will have a better fit on the arbor.
