The reviewer rated this Top Tool among those tested. The Bridgewood TSC-10CL was very close in price and performance, but this Ridgid saw had higher rip capacity, a firm-locking fence, and it comes with two cast-iron wings, a built-in mobile base, and a carbide-tipped saw blade that the Bridgewood unit does not include. One of the primary high points of this saw is its high rip capacity: 36", which is the widest of any tested by 6". The fence locks at the front and back, which reduces deflection to .002". The tabletop is large, the motor has good power, and the cuts show minimal blade scoring. The splitter/guard assembly can be mounted or dismounted with only a few turns of the thumbscrew. The mobile base has four swivel casters that will allow movement of the base in any direction, and the casters are lockable with a pedal. Slots in the cast-iron wings make it easy to clamp featherboards and jigs to the tabletop. There is an "eccentric lever" at the rear of the saw that allows alignment adjustment without requiring a mallet. The only low point is that it takes a large number (33 1/2) of turns of the crank to fully raise the blade, which is about three times the number of turns needed on most other contractor-style saws that were tested.

Great Saw for the Money (2008-09-13)
Fence is tight and accurate. Setup with eccentric leaver is simple and accurate to .002". Has held its accuracy over 3 months.... amazing. It is by far the best value I have found. I am glad that I purchased in lieu of a cabinet saw at 2 1/2X the price. Just cannot find any negatives.

Excellent Results From a Budget Machine! (2007-12-06)
I have owned the TS3650 for the better part of a year. It is quiet, smooth operating, and highly accurate. The manufacturor estimates the better part of a day to get the saw together and set up for work. Believe it. The instructions could use some work. Once you get it together you will not believe how quiet and vibration free this saw is. I have used it on a few significant furniture projects and find my cuts to be very accurate and repeatable. I have limited space and must share it with a number of tools. The mobile base is a snap to use and a must since this saw weighs in at @300 lbs. I have not needed to use it, but the amazing manufacturor's warranty gave me additional confidence in this purchase. The TS3650 is far more tool than the cost would indicate. I highly recommend it.

Great Saw You Need to Buy One!! (2007-08-13)
I purchased this saw about 6 months ago. I has done everything I've asked it to do and well. The casters that let you move it around are super.
