According to Fine Woodworking's test on thirteen cabinet saws, this Oliver seems to compare to all. FWW calls this machine "an old American-made name on a new Taiwan-made saw." It has acceptable arbor-flange runout and very little fence deflection, but its blade-miter slot parallelism was very out of line and needed adjustment. It has digital readout for blade tilt and its extension table and legs are optional.
