WHAT'S THIS?

One of the Best All Around 7-1/4" Saws (2007-07-31)

Having slogged through tons of reviews and internet buzz and reviews it looks like this is the best circular saw to get in the direct-drive category. It is also the best choice for all around use unless you feel the need for a worm-drive saw.

The Milwaukee 6394 has everything you would want in premium circular saw:

Plenty of power
Lightweight and balanced
Outstanding sight line
Tracks smooth and true
Easy to change blade
Comfortable handle

It seems to edge all the other saws out in consistent cutting performance in both light and heavy duty cutting jobs.

If your tight on money, you could get the 6390 sibling, but having the brake and removable cord is worth the extra $ in my opinion.

I've had several different brands , craftsman, black& decker and skill, I wouldn't trade this Milwaukee for 3 of any of these other brands. It's by far the best of any I've ever had previously. I think Milwaukee and Bosch tools are the best You can buy in the long haul. Pat. P.
