Consumer Reports testers ranked this as the 20th best general-use cordless drill-driver, with an evaluation score that puts it in the "good" range. The charge time is excellent, the handling is very good, the speed and low noise level (at the user's ear) are good, but the power and run time are only fair. The tool weight is 3.4 pounds, the battery pack has 12 volts, the battery type is NiCd, the battery recharge time is 30 minutes, and there are two speed ranges.
