The reviewer particularly liked the ability of this detail sander to round edges that were not reachable by a router. The tool's price is also low, which is ideal for a tool that may be used only a few times per year for special jobs. This sander is powerful yet the vibration is relatively mild, and the sander has enough power to quickly remove material. The tool comes with only a single piece of 100-grit abrasive, so the user should purchase several extra pieces of abrasive when purchasing the tool for the first time. Grizzly sells a package of five abrasives for only $3, with those grits in the package ranging from 60 to 240. One minor low point of this detail sander is that the tool's design does not allow the user to chose where to hold it: the tool forces the user to hold the it toward the tail end, yet the user may want to hold it closer to the nose for extra pressure. Another minor low point is that the motor's cooling fan can frequently blow dust into the user's face when the sander is tilted away from a flat position. Considering that this tool is likely to be used infrequently, the reviewer considered those low points to be minor issues.
