The reviewer rated this bandsaw Top Value since the price is $200 less than the top performing bandsaws (the Grizzly G0514 and the Rikon 10-340) yet it could handle any load the other saws could. The main drawback is that this saw was the slowest-cutting saw tested, due to its slow blade speed and light wheels. Despite this drawback, it could handle 15 pounds of feed force, which the Grizzly JWBS-16 bandsaw could not. Other positive points are that this saw has many features such as a quick-release blade tensioner that the top saws have, and its disc-style blade guides lock in place via thumbscrews rather than setscrews. An odd feature of this saw is that the blade tension scale is marked from 1-10 rather than by blade measurement in inches, so it is not clear where to set the blade tension for a given blade size.

I bought this saw a month ago and couldn't be happier. This same saw with the Rikon name on it sells for twice as much. Someone in an earlier review mentioned to watch out fot the high shipping price. Well since you are saving several hundred dollars from the local stores the shipping price is a steal!
