The reviewer gave an equal number of high points and low points for this saw. One high point is that the spring-loaded ball plungers in the miter gauge bar fit the slot perfectly. Also, the relatively large handwheels allow smooth and easy adjustments to the blade, and there is on-tool storage for the miter gauge and fence. The low points are that there are no T-slots on the fence to attach jigs or hold-downs, the fence is slightly difficult to read due to small markings and a hairline cursor, and the manual is difficult for beginners. The reviewer recommended that the owner's manual be updated.

Very Worth A Look (2007-07-22)
This is a solid machine according to the professional review we read. It is powerful and comes with a sturdy fence with nice features like a place to store the miter gauge, rip fence and wrenches. The reviewer rated it a 'best buy', but I'm not sure we agree. That is a tag generally reserved for a lower priced tool.
