Some Good Ergonomics, But Expensive

The reviewer said this router was one of the four (out of 11) routers tested that does not come with either a collet or reducer sleeve for 1/4"-shank bits. The main high point of this router is the visibility and accessibility of the speed control and power switch while the router in mounted in a table. There are some low points, however. For example, it is tedious to make bit-height adjustments under the table because there is no course adjustment, and the fine adjustment knob is uncomfortably close to the body of the router. Also, when changing bits while the router is in the table, the router must be lowered since the router's base protrusion would otherwise block access by wrench. The router is also the most expensive of any of the 11 tested. Although the depth-stop-rod can be zeroed and easily adjusted for accurate tuning of the cutting depth, the scale is graduated in millimeters.
