The reviewer listed only one purely low point for this mitersaw: the bevel scale markings become difficult to read from sawdust buildup. The high points are that the miter scale and cursor allow extreme accuracy, there is a detent override that allows the saw to be positioned close to the miter stops without slipping into them, the vernier scale is extremely accurate (within 1/4 degrees) for the miter position, the cam-style lock is superior to screw-style locks of other tested models, and the 6 1/4-inch vertical cutting capacity was the best of any of the mitersaws tested. A mixed point is that the bevel stop allows for angles larger than 45 degrees without recalibration, but a screwdriver is required to loosen the stop for such large angles. Another mixed point is that a single extension wing will provide 28 inches of support, but a screwdriver is required to loosen the screws to use such an extension wing.

I have enjoyed using this miter saw. The saw was dead-on accuate out of the box. Tools like this one just reafirm my belief in buying quality the first time. (More)
