I bought this sander with the intention of using it for various house projects but ended up using it to sand the floors in my entire house!!! Hours of continuous sanding and this thing shows no sign of usage or wear. The motor feels and sounds just as good as when it came out of the box. I probably would never do floors again with this sander just because a drum or belt sander is efficient but hey, it worked. The shell is tough. Accidently dropped it from a height of about 6 feet onto the driveway with no internal damage and barely a scratch.
