Consumer Reports testers ranked this as the 17th best general-use cordless drill-driver, with an evaluation score that puts it in the "good" range. The speed and charge time are very good, the power and low noise level (at the user's ear) are good, but the run time and handling are only fair. The tool weight is 5.3 pounds, the battery pack has 12 volts, the battery type is NiCd, the battery recharge time is 60 minutes, and there are three speed ranges.
