Excellent Switch Placement, But No Dust Collection Provided

The reviewer rated this as Top Tool of the routers tested, which meant it tied with the Bosch 1617EVSPK router. The high points of this router were the same as those of the Bosch 1617EVSPK, especially in the location of the on-off switch near the handles, with an additional plus in that depth adjustments can be made with the included hexhead wrench from above the table when the router is in a router table. Other pluses shared by the Bosch 1617EVSPK router are that the plunge and fixed bases and be quickly adjusted and will handle both large depth changes and microadjustments, there is low vibration and collet runout, and base changes are very easy to do. The only low point is that no dust collection is provided for either base, not even as an accessory.
