Fine Woodworking complained that this model had an inconvenient fence design-- adjusting the fence was a hassle. The many holes in the base panels had to be adjusted to be properly lined up with the threaded holes in the legs. After adjustment, and disregarding fence adjustment, this machine runs smoothly, with very flat table surfaces and creating a "smooth as glass" surface. The machine also comes with a helpful manual and a storage shelf on the infeed side of the base for the push blocks.
