I bought my Central Machinery drill press 11 years ago. I thought that it was going to be cheap and junky, then after a few years I would buy an expensive "good one".
I have drill thousands of holes, mostly in steel since then. I use it for alot of larger holes 5/8" up to 1 inch in mild steel and it has done great! After all of these years I still haven't needed to upgrade or replace it. If I ever do buy a bigger machine you can bet that I'll still keep this one. Overall I would highly recommend this drill press for anything short of production or continuous work.
