Overall, FWW admitted that this bandsaw performed acceptably; however, it is the cheapest in its class and a low price is a trade-off for a high quality machine with useful features. It is very similar to the Reliant DD90. The saw cut acceptably but produced only 8,000 psi of blade tension. FWW didn't like that its wheel covers aren't hinged, it has an inconveniently placed tension knob, the fence doesn't adjust for blade drift, and the table insert is plastic. Also, the motor stalls without warning when pushing too fast, not giving you enough time to adjust the feed rate. FWW suggests that if you plan on using your bandsaw just a few times a year, this cheap machine will do the job adequately.

Good Saw for the Price (2008-01-07)
I have owned this saw for about two years. It is great for small jobs that require a strong slim blade. I have tried to resaw 2x6 doug fir and it coulden't cut through without stalling. I don't have a lot to compare with because the only other band saw I used was in High School. So if you plan to resaw, don't buy this one.
