Good Price, But Won't Fully Drive Fasteners Into Hardwoods

The reviewer said some high points of this nailer are that the price is low, an extra no-mar tip is included, and when the no-mar tip is removed then brads can be accurately placed with the rear-mounted contact safety trip. This was the heaviest nailer tested, but that weight is an advantage in that recoil is dampened. One low point is that it was the only nailer tested that couldn't drive a 2" fastener into oak or hard maple: all of its fasteners stood about 1/2" proud after being driven in the wood. However, for softwoods, molding, and less dense materials this nailer is fine.

This has misfired or double fired a couple of times and other times works great. I am hesitant to use it where it would be very visible or where touchup would be difficult (like stained material). (More)
