4 out of 5 Low Cost & Performs Very Well (2008-03-06)

The reviewer said this is the least expensive contractor-style saw on the market, and it had close to the best performance of any tablesaw tested. The Ridgid TS3650 was ultimately judged to be slightly better, but just barely. Some high points are that the turned drive pulleys and link belt come with this saw and both reduce vibration, and the fence can be brought parallel to the blade and perpendicular to the tabletop by means of adjustment screws. A minor low point is that the fence scale is difficult to read due to the hash marks for 1/8" and 1/4" being the same height. If you want a right wing, you can either make your own or buy one of two types from Wilke Machinery (at $70 or $100). The saw's motor was upgraded just after the review was written, though the model number did not change.

Documentation and Finish Lacking (2007-07-22)

by Woodisgood

The review we read of the TSC-10CL and the general buzz is that the documentation is lacking and the finish of this product is below the standard of other saws of comparable price. While documentation problems caused some problems for the reviewing in getting the saw up and running, it is very possible that these have been corrected in the models shipping now.

On the plus the review reported the motor as quiet and smooth and raising and changing the blade angle worked well.
