Great for Small Projects

The reviewer implied that this compressor works admirably only for small projects since the air pressure drops quickly on large projects, which causes the motor to run constantly. But on small projects, for example, it can drive twelve 18-gauge brads at 90 psi without requiring the compressor to reengage. The size of the air tank is 1.6 gallons. Some other positives with this compact compressor are that its 116 psi maximum pressure can easily drive brads and narrow-crown staples, it can easily fill tires and sports balls, and can easily dust off power tool motors and other objects. Also, there are two convenient carrying handles, there are cleats for convenient cord storage, and the tank draincock is easily accessible. A minor negative is that the regulator knob is recessed and difficult to grip with one finger.

I purchased this compressor because a small, light-weight unit appealed to me. Rather than lugging around my 50lb Emglo for smaller jobs, the thought of having a small unit made sense to me. The unit... (More)
