Easy Height Adjustment, But Motor Can Slow

The reviewer mentioned that the Bosch router is one of the few routers tested that allows easy height adjustment, due to a large knob for fine adjustment and plunge springs for resistance that can be disabled. There are two knobs for adjustments of depth, one for coarse adjustment, one for fine adjustment, and these are faster to use than similar knobs on most other routers. There is also an extension knob for fine adjustments to the cutting depth. Some low points are that the when routing with a raised-panel bit, the motor temporarily slowed, and the motor can drop down somewhat when making coarse depth changes under the table unless the motor is held up by hand. The trigger style power switch is well-located for hand usage, but not so well located for engaging under the table. The quick-change guide-bushing mount is convenient, but Bosch bushings must be purchased separately.
