WHAT'S THIS?

You Won't Believe a Jigsaw Can Work So Well (2007-02-07)

I got this saw over a year ago and continue to be amazed at how well it works.

I have owned 4-5 'Craftsman', 'B&D', etc. jigsaws over the years, ranging in cost from $30-$70. They were rarely used because the could only cut thin material and never straight or pumb. I got this tool because it's predecessor got such great reveiws.

With this saw you can cut detail in 2x4's like it's cutting through balsa, no joke.

My summary:

Smooth running, very little vibration.
Lots and lots of power.
Cuts dead straight, right on the line, no wandering.
Cuts plumb, you set the foot at 90 deg it cuts 90, all the way through the wood with no blade deflection giving wonky cuts.
Blade change is a snap, you'll actually use the correct blade for the job.
The blades are wicked sharp.

I found it difficult to believe that ANY jigsaw was worth $160. I was wrong, you will not be disappointed with this tool.

I find all sorts of uses for this saw that I would have never attempted with my old Sears tools.

You'll be a believer if you get one.

WHAT'S THIS?

Redefines Jigsaws (2007-01-30)

This is one of the finest tools that I own. You don't understand what can be done with a jigsaw until you use a really good one. It is a pleasure to operate and was well worth the money. Your first impulse is to think that it can't be worth three times the price of a cheap saw, but it's like comparing a McDonalds hamburger to a steak.

I love this saw and would reccomend it to others!

this is the best, all bosch jigsaws are great, they just keep getting better and better, this is the best one so far, and my forth bosch jigsaw, all of my saws are still in action and are well used. This model is the cream of the crop.

Do not buy any other jigsaw, do not waste money on any others, whether it is more or less, this is the ONE
