Dremel
Dremel is a the rotary tool market leader. Their Moto-Tool was first introduced over 40 years ago, and the company has since developed a line of self-proclaimed “tools for the imagination.”
With over 50 patents (including the electric eraser and the first design of the gasoline powered walk-behind rotary lawn mower) Albert J. Dremel founded the Dremel Company in 1932 in Racine, Wisconsin. While an electric razor blade sharpener was the company’s first product, Dremel’s next invention was, perhaps, his greatest ever - a high-speed rotary tool known as the Moto-Tool. Its compact, lightweight design became an instant success.
In 1993, the company was purchased by Robert Bosch GmbH, and is currently a division of the Robert Bosch Tool Corporation.
