For the price, we think it would be very hard to beat Grizzly's 14" bandsaw. We have one in the Toolcritic shop and have been consistently impressed with it's performance. The guides track very well and it has enough power to resaw. The user reviews and the buzz from magazine articles are consistently positive. We think you can very happily turn lots of large pieces of wood into very orderly and possibly beautiful smaller pieces (plus sawdust) with this tool.
